Press Release

BXC-51 v1.0 Released
February 8, 1988
Today, Binary Technology released BXC-51 v1.0. Now, Intel BASIC-52 programmers can take their BASIC programs and compile them. This provides a performance improvement over regular interpreted BASIC-52 as well as encrypting source code so others cannot copy it. Now, instead of always shipping the more expensive Intel 8052 microcrontroller, your project can ship the 8051 microcontrolller, saving you money.

Compatibility: BXC-51 runs on PC-DOS or MS-DOS Version 2.0 or later with a minimum of 384K of RAM and one floppy drive.

Tavve Software Co. provided the software services to Binary Technology for this upgrade.
